This was an original invention I built using an Arduino microcontroller. The goal was to create a fully functional automatic drink dispenser that could pour drinks at the push of a button.
We had to design the entire system from scratch, including selecting components, wiring sensors and pumps, and building the physical enclosure. One of the most challenging parts was getting the pump system to pour accurately without leaks, and making sure the sensor input worked smoothly.
I wrote the Arduino code that controlled the system, including the logic for timing, button input, and pump activation. It took a lot of testing and iteration to get everything working the way we wanted.
After building the machine, we created a full business plan for the product. This included brainstorming a target market, estimating production costs, and coming up with a unique selling point. We wrapped it up with a pitch presentation where we pitched the dispenser as if we were launching it as a real product.
It was an awesome experience that combined engineering, coding, design, and entrepreneurship all in one project.
